Hurricanes Tally 2nd Road Loss – Fall 4-2 to the Giants

LETHBRIDGE:   The Lethbridge Hurricanes opened the scoring in Vancouver Saturday night but, charted a second road loss in as many days as the team was outshot 37-16. The final score was 4-2 in favour of the Giants.

Cory Millette netted both the Hurricane goals.  The first coming at 8:31 of the first period, assisted by Ryley Lindgren and Carter Folk. The second period goal was assisted by Egor Babenko and Brady Reagan. The Giants took control of the rest of game and followed with their four goals.

In spite of the two road losses, the Canes remain atop the standings in the WHL with 72 points, one point ahead of Kelowna. However, the Rockets have two games in hand and will host the Hurricanes on Tuesday night.
