New Mobile App Provides Information on Pesticide Labels

Health Canada has launched a new mobile app that allows users to access pesticide labels that have been registered for use in Canada.
The free app, called Pesticide Labels, allows users to look up specific pesticide label instructions from the convenience of their smartphone or tablet.
Users can search by product name, active ingredient, registrant name, or full label contents. The results will provide information about the product, along with a PDF version of the label.
Agriculture Minister Lawrence MacAulay says it’s a useful tool to help farmers incorporate best management practices in real time.
