Pronghorn’s Basketball: Men and Women Off to Calgary This Weekend

LETHBRIDGE: The Lethbridge Pronghorns women’s basketball team heads to Calgary this weekend to take on the Dinos.

It will be a long shot for the ‘Horns to make the playoffs while the Dinos already clinched a spot.

The games tipoff at 6:00pm on Friday and 5:00pm on Saturday.

The 11-4 Dinos put a 4 game winning streak on the line and the ‘Horns are coming off a tough weekend against the CIS #6 Alberta Pandas.

The ‘Horns hit the road again next weekend, paying the University of Winnipeg Wesmen a visit.

Meanwhile, the Pronghorn men’s basketball team is also heading to Calgary this weekend, to take on the CIS #5 Dinos who are unbeaten in eight straight outings.

The ‘Horns will look to build off of a sweep of the Alberta Golden Bears last weekend.

The games this weekend at the U of C go at 8:00pm on Friday, and 7:00pm on Saturday.

The Dinos have clinched a playoff spot and the ‘Horns are in a good position too sitting in fourth.

Next weekend, the ‘Horns are in Winnipeg to take on the U of W Wesmen.
