LETHBRIDGE: An initiative encouraging Lethbridge to work together to better the community is officially underway.

Cheers 4 Lethbridge is a public engagement project spearheaded by the City and the Library.

Library CEO Terra Plato says its very easy to get involved.

“It’s us asking participants in the community to do four things to make Lethbridge a better place to live, work and play. It’s really easy to participate. You can do small things or big things.”

Participants can get involved in the campiagn online or post their actions in person at Lethbridge Public Library Main Branch or City Hall.

“The idea is for [the project] to be taken up by the community and really driven by the community.”

The initiative has a life-span of two years and is based off the “3 Things Movement” that has occured in places like Calgary.
