Pre-Seeding Market Update Seminar in Lethbridge Next Month

LETHBRIDGE – MNP is putting on a Pre-Seeding Market Update next month.

The half day session will feature Farm Marketing Advisor Lee Melvill who will present market information and strategies for the upcoming year, looking at crops such as wheat, canola, peas, and barley, but also touching on smaller crops like duram, flax, mustard, lentils, and malt barley.

Farm Management Consultant Mark Wobick says it’s a great networking opportunity where farmers can discuss their seeding plan and share ideas for the upcoming year.

The session will take place on March 8th at the Lethbridge MNP office. There is a $125 cost per person. Anyone who wants to attend must register by February 17th by calling Brenda at 403-380-1657.
