Hurricanes and Bulls Go Head-to-Head for Charity

LETHBRIDGE – The Hurricanes accepted a challenge from the Bulls for a charity softball game.

Proceeds from ticket sales will support the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.

Manager of Community Relations for the Society, Diane Herrick, couldn’t be more thankful for the support of the two teams and the city.

“It costs a lot to run our office. We have quite a few programs that we offer, and just paying the rent is expensive. It’s important because we couldn’t do what we do without the support of the community and raising funds.”
