First Ever “Celebrate Downtown” Awards Night

LETHBRIDGE – The Heart of Our City Committee hosted its inaugural “Celebrate Downtown” awards night.

The event, held at CASA on April 6, was used to recognize the outstanding efforts of a number of individuals, businesses, organizations, festivals and events in different categories.

It was also hosted in conjunction with the 10-year anniversary of the Heart of Our City Master Plan, which fostered the revitalization of downtown Lethbridge.

Over 200 people attended the event, and Mayor Chris Spearman tweeted that he saw “great enthusiasm for our city and downtown”.
