LETHBRIDGE – There’s still time to register for the Science Olympics this weekend.

The event hosted by Lethbridge Regional Science Fair groups is open and free for students in grades 4-12.

Students and teams can register until 4 p.m. Friday April 8, when judges will begin to look at the constructions.

Dr. Arlan Schultz said that the fair offers students the opportunity to talk about science national level judges.

“It’s really exciting, because the kids are exposed to individuals who are just as excited about science as they are and they get to encouage them to go on in their fields.”

The top three projects from the regional fair (Grades 8 – 12) are invited to compete at CANADA-WIDE SCIENCE FAIR 2016 in Montreal, Quebec in May 2016.

The event takes place in the First Choice Savings Centre, Upper Track this Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
