LETHBRIDGE – The local real-estate market continues to maintain a fairly steady pace through the first quarter of 2016.

To this point, 518 homes have been sold in Lethbridge, down from 551 during the same span last year.

Cathy Maxwell, the Lethbridge and District Association of Realtors Executive Officer, pointed out that it’s still good news, as 2015’s number was a seven year high. She added that the average sales price remains strong at $266,000, down just 1.5-per cent from last year.

She noted that our city’s diversified economy continues to shield us from the slowdown that’s impacting most of the province.
