Fundraiser Dinner to Benefit Wilson Middle School Options Programs

Apr 9, 2016 | 8:30 AM

LETHBRIDGE – Your help is needed to provide for students at Wilson Middle School for years to come.

The school is currently undergoing an extensive modernization project with a full slate of mechanical and electrical upgrades on the way, as well as expansions in several areas.

A Phase 1 Grand Opening Fundraiser will be hosted on April 20 in the school’s gym. Money raised goes back into the school’s options programs.

Donations will be matched by ScotiaBank, and used to purchase things like extra sewing machines, lighting for the new drama facility and equipment for the expanded weight room.

The night will feature entertainment from Cody Hall and Trevor Panczak, a pasta dinner courtesy of Luigi’s, a 50/50 and silent auction. Staff will also be on hand to answer questions about the project, and community members will be able to view the work that’s already been completed.

Tickets are $15 per plate, or $120 to sponsor a table of eight. They can be purchased on the Lethbridge School District 51 website, or by calling (403-329-3144) or visiting the Wilson Middle School office.
