AHS and Lethbridge Bookmobile Launch Recreation Fitness Equipment Borrowing Program

LETHBRIDGE – Alberta Health Services and the Lethbridge Public Library are teaming up to bring fitness to the community.
Starting May 2, 2016 the public can bring their library card to the Bookmobile’s SunRidge location (Mount Sundance Manor West) to borrow fitness equipment and learn how to improve their fitness.
The Mobile Movers program, is staffed by AHS recreation therapists and staff from the LPL’s Physical Literacy Program, which offers kits containing materials needed for various outdoor sports and activities. The kits can also be picked up at both branches of the city library.
Resources will be available every Monday starting May 2 through July from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m..
