Trial Date Set in Connection with Fatal Collision that Killed a Father and Son
TABER – A trial date has been set for later this year for a Lethbridge man accused in a fatal collision that claimed the life of a father and son.
On December 5, 2015, two vehicles – both heading westbound – collided on Highway 3 just east of Taber, when one attempted to make a left turn and was struck by the other.
A 33-year old man and his five-year old son from Coaldale were killed in the crash, while a three-year old child had to be airlifted to Calgary with non-life threatening injuries and the female driver was taken to hospital.
During a court appearance in April, 58-year old Roy Charles McCluskey entered not guilty pleas to charges of dangerous driving causing death and bodily harm.
