Lethbridge Woman to Stand Trial on Charge of First Degree Murder

LETHBRIDGE – A 22-year old Lethbridge woman will be heading to trial on a charge of first degree murder.
The preliminary hearing for Julie-Ann Nicky Agerskov concluded Wednesday, with the judge finding there is enough evidence to proceed to trial.
On February 23, 2015, Lethbridge Police were called about an injured woman at a home along the 300 block of 19 Street North. EMS also attended, and pronounced 43-year old Katheline Amber Buck dead at the scene.
An investigation found the victim and another individual were at the home of an acquaintance when they got into a fight over a past dispute, resulting in Buck’s death.
