Cardston RCMP Seeking Information in Hit and Run

CARDSTON – Cardston RCMP are asking for help to identify the driver and passenger in a car, following an alleged hit and run.

On June 6 around 7:10-pm, police responded to a report that a child had been hit while riding his bike on 9 Avenue West in Cardston.

The child was heading westbound when he was hit from behind by a the newer silver or grey car. The vehicle then stopped, backed up and drove around the child without offering assistance.

The child wasn’t injured but was shaken up by the incident.

The two occupants of the vehicle are described as being aboriginal, with the driver having short black hair and wearing a grey hat. The vehicle reportedly had a yellow air freshener hanging from the rear view mirror.
