47th Southern Alberta Summer Games Come to a Close

LETHBRIDGE – The 47th Southern Alberta Summer Games are officially over.

Closing ceremonies were at Lethbridge City Hall held last night (July 9).

Mayor Chris Spearman thanked all of the athletes, coaches, managers, volunteers, sponsors and supporters as he passed the flag on to the City of Brooks, the host of the 2017 games.

Lethbridge athletes came out on top this year, clearing their competitors with 124 gold, 92 silver and 67 bronze.
