Collision Involving Cyclist near Granum Results in Fatality

FORT MACLEOD: RCMP were called to the scene of a collision on Thursday (July 14) afternoon which resulted in the death of a cyclist.
The incident happened about 1:00-pm on Highway 2 near Township Road 95-A, outside Granum
A cyclist was travelling southbound on the shoulder of the highway when he was passed by a white van, causing the cyclist to move further onto the shoulder of the highway.
When the cyclist oved over, he ran into the back of a semi truck that was parked on the shoulder.
