Farming Smarter Hosting Alberta Wheat Day

LETHBRIDGE – Farming Smarter is hosting an Alberta Wheat Day on Thursday to share information about wheat breeding and agronomy.
The day will begin at the Farming Smarter field site just east of Lethbridge to share information about their hail wheat trial. The tour will also visit a farm near Carmangay and will also feature presentations from a number of specialists.
Assistant Manager Jamie Puchinger says the event is also a great networking opportunity to get fresh ideas from other farmers and agronomists that are in attendance.
The event will run from 9am to 4pm on Thursday and costs $40 which includes lunch.
