Premier Rachel Notley to Discuss Alberta Oil at Council of Federation in Whitehorse

ALBERTA – Premier Rachel Notley will attend the Council of the Federation on July 21-22 in Whitehorse.
Various topics will be on the agenda, including: internal trade, climate change and disaster management with regards to the Fort McMurray wildfires.
Notley will also lead a discussion about the importance of getting Alberta oil to market.
“It will be an opportunity for me to reinforce that the drop in the price of oil is not just Alberta’s problem and demonstrate why we need to strengthen the efficiency and sophistication of our energy industry. This includes diversifying our market access,” Notley said.
