Sudden Death of 6 Year Old Girl

LETHBRIDGE:   Police and EMS responded to a south side address around 5:15 on Monday afternoon, where a six year old girl was found unconscious in a water-filled dugout on the private residential property. 

 EMS transported the child to Chinook Regional Hospital where despite all efforts by family and medical professionals the young girl died.  An autopsy will be performed in Calgary on Tuesday morning.  However, the death does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
