Three Suspects Arrested in Connection with Counterfeit Money Incidents

LETHBRIDGE:  UPDATE – City police have arrested two men and a woman in connection with a series of incidents where counterfeit US $50 bills were allegedly passed at local businesses.

Randy Gordon Boehner, 30, and Renee Frances Holden, 25, both of Calgary, are both charged with possession of counterfeit money and possession of material for counterfeiting.

The two appeared in court Wednesday afternoon and were remanded in custody until their next appearance on Friday, August 19.

Jarrett James Hamilton, 23 of Lethbridge, is also charged with possession of counterfeit money, possession of material for counterfeiting and uttering counterfeit money. He is currently remanded in custody, awaiting a Judicial Interim Release hearing.
