RCMP Investigating Armed Robbery in Shaughnessy

PICTURE BUTTE – An armed robbery that occurred Monday night is under investigation by Picture Butte RCMP.

Police say a man entered the Tickety-Boo convenience store in Shaughnessy around 8 P.M., produced what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money from the lone employee. After receiving the cash, the suspect fled on foot.

Police have obtained video surveillance, which they are now reviewing.
