Taber police and Emergency crews searching for missing swimmer

TABER –   RCMP were called out around 2:00 Sunday (Sept 25th) afternoon to deal with a report of a missing man at the MD of Taber Park. 

A man in his 30s had been swimming with three of his siblings when he climbed a pillar and jumped into the water. He did not resurface and has not been located.

The Taber Fire Department, EMS, Taber police, Lethbridge Fire dive team, Victim Services and Taber RCMP were conducting a search of the river on Sunday evening.

No name has been released and information will be updated as it becomes available.
