Sep 28, 2016 | 9:20 AM

LETHBRIDGE – City police and the Lethbridge Fire Department were on scene in Tudor Estates Wednesday morning (Sept. 28), investigating a vehicle and grass fire in the coulees just west of the area.

Officers have already determined that a pickup truck went over the coulees and rolled. The truck caught fire, which spread to the grass but was quickly extinguished by firefighters.

On scene, Sergeant George Carscadden noted that they are looking for more information from the public.

“One of the people that initially called in said that they saw three people fleeing from the area, so if we have anybody that had seen anything around 7 o’clock, with any further descriptions, we would totally like to talk to them,” explained Carscadden.

Police have stated that it isn’t believed anyone was seriously hurt.

Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area around Tudor Estates around 7:00 A.M. Wednesday morning is asked to contact Lethbridge Police at 403-328-4444 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
