LETHBRIDGE – A documentary that was shot and produced in Lethbridge will screen at the 2016 Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness Conference in London, Ontario.

Over a thousand people from across the country – including policy makers, funders, researchers, advocates, community leaders and front line workers – are expected to attend the conference, which will explore solutions for ending homelessness in Canada.

The documentary Where is Home? came together between 2013 and 2015 in our city, with filmmaker Dan Berdusco focusing on homelessness, addiction and the long-term effects of the Residential School system in Southern Alberta.

“I am honored that Where is Home? has been chosen to screen at this very important conference. It is my hope that this opportunity will not only share these perspectives from our community, but will also lead to continued national distribution of this film. To help achieve this goal, I am providing all attendees of the conference with the ability to freely and perpetually distribute and screen the film publicly at their discretion, free of charge,” stated Berdusco.
