Police investigating south side convenience store robbery

LETHBRIDGE – An investigation has been launched into an early morning robbery at a south side convenience store.

Lethbridge Police say that around 2:11 Wednesday morning (Nov. 16), they were called to the 7-11 along the 400 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South.

An unknown male entered the store, armed with a sharp object and demanded cash. An undisclosed amount of cash was handed over and the suspect fled. They noted that the clerk was not injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male between the ages of 25 and 30, and about six feet tall with a thin build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing grey pants, a brown coat and white shoes or flip flops.
