LETHBRIDGE – After struggling through an ugly five game losing skid through the mid part of November, the Lethbridge Hurricanes have now rattled off five straight wins.

The Canes surge back up the standings continued with a dominant 5-1 win over the Prince Albert Raiders – who have now lost nine straight – Wednesday (Nov. 30) night at the Enmax Centre.

Calen Addison got things started by burying his fourth goal of the season 6:10 into the first period. Tyler Wong and Giorgio Estephan would score in the second, and Estephan would add another less than a minute into the third, before Prince Albert would finally get on the board with a short-handed goal. Ryley Lindgren would close things out with his 11th goal of the season with five minutes left in the game.

With the win the Hurricanes are now over the .500 mark with a 12-11-1-2 record, and have pulled back into third place in the Central Division, moving past Edmonton.

Their solid play at home also continued, as the win was their seventh in 13 tries in Lethbridge.

The Hurricanes will now prepare for a home-and-home weekend series against the Red Deer Rebels, starting at home Friday night and switching to Red Deer the following evening.

The Rebels currently lead the Hurricanes by just one point in the standings.
