LETHBRIDGE – A Lethbridge man is facing multiple charges following a short term drug investigation near a northside day home.

Police conducted a search warrant along the 2200 block of 6A Avenue North on Thursday (Feb. 16), after receiving a number of public tips about a suspected trafficking operation. A small quantity of fentanyl pills, knives, a replica handgun, a conducted energy weapon and other drug paraphernalia were seized.

No one was inside the residence during the search. However, it was determined that young children live there.

Dillon Scott Lewis, 24, has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime, possession of weapons dangerous to the public and child endangerment.

He was remanded in custody to appear in court Friday (Feb. 17) morning.
