14-year old in hospital after snowmobile crash near Lost Creek

BLAIRMORE – A serious snowmobile collision Monday (Mar. 20) morning has left a 14-year old male with non-life threatening injuries.

Crowsnest Pass RCMP were notified of the incident around 11:53 a.m.. Pincher Creek RCMP, fire services, as well as local search and rescue teams and conservation officers were then deployed to the Lost Creek area.

The victim had to be airlifted by STARS, due to the extent of his injuries and the location in the back country. He was safely transported to the Pincher Creek Health Centre.

Cst. Ken Kerby confirmed to Lethbridge News Now that the boy remains in hospital for further treatment at this time.
