Liquor store employee bear-sprayed during robbery

LETHBRIDGE – Information is needed regarding the suspect in a robbery where the clerk at a liquor store was bear sprayed.
Around 6:50-pm on Saturday (March 25), an unknown woman entered Liquor Connection along the 1500 block of 9 Avenue South, selected a bottle of liquor from the shelf and walked to the checkout counter where she produced a can of bear spray and threatened the employee.
She then sprayed the employee in the face and fled the store.
The employee was taken to hospital by EMS and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
