LETHBRIDGE – UPDATE 12:15 pm : A quick call to the Enmax Centre indicates that there are only about 100 seats left for tonight’s game.

Nearly 100 people were once again lined up at the Enmax Centre in Lethbridge this morning (Saturday), to get their tickets for another Hurricanes elimination game, even before they went on sale at 10 am.

This time, it’s a Game 6, rather than Game 7 in their second round series with the Medicine Hat Tigers, after the ‘Canes defeated them Friday night at the Canalta Centre 5-4.

The Hurricanes’ Game 7 against the Red Deer Rebels in the first round of the playoffs was also sold out– and the team came out with a decisive 6-2 win, with a deafening crowd cheering them on.

The last time the ‘Canes made it to a 2nd round playoff series was back in 2009, and the last time the team won a playoff series against the Tigers, was back in 1991- 26 years ago.

Game 6 takes place Sunday (April 16) at 6pm.
