City asking for feedback on Capital Improvement Program

Apr 18, 2017 | 10:25 AM

LETHBRIDGE – As Lethbridge City Council’s Finance Committee considers over 100 potential projects for the next Capital Improvement Program, they’re asking for your feedback.

There will be displays set up with opportunities to leave comments through the rest of the week.

All of them will be at the Multicultural Centre at the following times:

-Tuesday (Apr. 18) – noon to 7 pm
-Wednesday and Thursday (Apr. 19-20) – 8:30 am to 7 pm
-Friday (Apr. 21) – 8:30 am to noon

Another display will also be set up at City Hall on Monday (Apr. 24) from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

An opportunity will then be available to speak to City Council and administration at an open house next Wednesday (Apr. 26), which will run from 4-8 pm at City Hall.

You can also go over the projects and offer your feedback online at lethbridge.ca/CIP.

After gathering the information, Council will begin deliberations from May 15-19, with final approval set for June.

The CIP provides a planning schedule and financing strategy for ten years (2018-2027), with funding indentified for projects approved within the first four years.
