New survey opens to help develop provincial curriculum

ALBERTA – You have another chance to help rewrite Alberta’s K-12 curriculum.

Following up on a more general survey in the fall, a new government survey has opened up, with two components for gathering public input. You’ll be asked to give your input on six subject areas – language arts, math, social studies, science, arts, and wellness.

In the second part you’ll be shown draft content for each subject area, and asked to give your opinion on it.

The survey will close June 2. Afterwards the province will use that input to help put together learning outcomes for each of the subjects. That development work will begin in the fall.
