PINCHER CREEK –  The preliminary damage estimate for a house fire in Pincher Creek on the weekend has been pegged at between $100,000 and $150,000.

Deputy Fire Chief Pat Neumann (New man) confirms his department responded with two engines around 5:15 Saturday (May 13) morning.

Two residents in the home, at 559 Main Street,  were able to get out safely and no injuries were reported.

The investigation into the fire continues but, Neumann says initial evidence indicates the blaze is not suspicious and appears to have started on the exterior of the building.
