RCMP seeking suspects in theft and flight from police

FORT MACLEOD –   RCMP are asking for public help in locating a man and woman suspected in a theft from a business.

On Thursday May 18, RCMP officers began investigating a theft of phones from Photo Plus/The Source. Video surveillance was used to identify a suspect vehicle which was seen a short time later on Main St. in Fort Macleod.

Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over but the driver fled at a high rate of speed.

It was later leaned that the vehicle was stolen and the suspects used a credit card which was stolen the same morning from an employee of a different business in Fort Macleod.

The suspect vehicle was found abandoned that afternoon near Monarch.
