Wind turbine on Piikani First Nation damaged

Piikani First Nation – The Weather Dancer wind turbine on the Piikani First Nation near Pincher Creek has been badly damaged, and RCMP are hoping someone knows who did it.
 
On June 12, a technician was servicing the turbine, and discovered the damage, which is estimated to be around $25-thousand dollars.
 
Police say the turbine was hit multiple times with a high powered rifle likely between April 8 and May 31.
