LETHBRIDGE – The Lethbridge Bulls put the brakes on a three-game losing skid, with a 5-3 win over the visiting Brooks Bombers Saturday night (July 8).

After falling behind 3-0 in the top of the fourth, the Bulls quickly rallied back, tying the game 3-3 by the end of the inning.

They would go on to add the go-ahead run in the fifth, and an insurance run in the seventh, while shutting down the Bombers’ offence the rest of the way.

Bulls starter, Brady Moxham, picked up the win with six innings of work and seven strikeouts, while Dawson Moser was credited with the save.

The win improves the Bulls record to 18-12, which pulls them within two games of the Okotoks Dawgs, who lead the Western Division with a 20-10 record.

The Bulls and Bombers will wrap up the home-and-home weekend series in Brooks Sunday afternoon (July 9).
