MEDICINE HAT — The Lethbridge Bulls have fallen to third place in the standings, after a see-saw battle at Medicine Hat.

The Bulls lost to the Mavericks 11-9. Lethbridge took an early lead, but gave it up in the second inning and wouldn’t regain it until a four-run fifth.

Reliever Louis Corral was tagged with the loss after giving up the tying and winning runs in the bottom of the seventh.

Both Medicine Hat and Lethbridge are now 3.5 games behind division-leading Okotoks. But the Mavericks have a slightly better win-loss percentage.
