Bulls give up 7 in first inning, lose to Brooks

LETHBRIDGE — The Lethbridge Bulls got off to a bad start against Brooks and never fully recovered.

The Bulls lost to the Bombers 15-10 before 789 fans at Spitz Stadium Thursday, July 13. Lethbridge gave up seven unearned runs in the top of the first inning, and never fully recovered.

Starting pitcher Trace Francis was tagged with the loss, lasting just one inning. The Bulls also committed seven fielding errors.

The offence was better, with 10 runs on 16 hits. Jesse Hilyard hit his fourth home run of the season.
