WEYBURN, Sask. — The second game of the Lethbridge Bulls’ swing through the Eastern Division resulted in a second straight loss.

The Bulls lost to the Weyburn Beavers 6-3 Monday, July 17. A three-run sixth inning for Weyburn was Lethbridge’s undoing. A solo home run by Jesse Hilyard, his fifth of the season, was a highlight for the Bulls.

Liam Sabiston took the loss for the Bulls, giving up all six runs on nine hits in 5.2 innings pitched.

With the loss, the Bulls are barely hanging onto second place in the Westsern Division, 4.5 games behind Okotoks and just a half game up on Medicine Hat.
