MOOSE JAW — A rough start did in the Bulls in the final game of their Saskatchewan trip.

Lethbridge gave up six runs in the first two innings, on their way to a 6-3 loss to the Moose Jaw Miller Express.

Starting pitcher Ben Erwin lasted just the two innings, allowing six runs on nine hits for the loss. Relievers Louis Corral and Hunter Cunningham combined to allow six more hits in the rest of the game.

The Bulls battled back with three runs in the third inning, but that was the end of the scoring.

With seven games left to play, Lethbridge is alone in second, 5.5 games back of the division-leading Okotoks Dawgs.

The next action for the Bulls is a home-and-home series with the Medicine Hat Mavericks. It begins in Medicine Hat Saturday, July 22.
