Video surveillance photos lead to charges against robbery suspect

LETHBRIGE – Police have charged a 28-year old city woman in relation to a gas station robbery on July 24.
Around 1:27 on that afternoon, officers responded to a robbery at Gas King along the 2600 block of 16 Avenue South.
A woman loitered in the store, then grabbed a phone charger and walked out.
A physical altercation resulted when a staff member confronted the suspect, who left the area on foot and then returned to fight the clerk a second time.
The clerk received minor injuries
Surveillance photos lead to charges against Leah Deisrae Tallow, who will be in court on August 8.
