Work to close portions of Henderson Lake Park pathway

LETHBRIDGE — The old paving stones in Henderson Lake Park are being replaced.
Starting Tuesday, Aug. 8 and for just over a week, expect to see barricades popping up along the paving stone portion of the trail on the north side of the lake.
The city is replacing those stones with stamped concrete, which is described as more durable and providing a more even walking surface. The work will start behind the pool and make its way to the concession stand.
Some benches and garbage bins will be replaced as well.
