Lethbridge Police charge two people with drug trafficking offences

LETHBRIDGE –  A 41-year old woman and 35-year old man have been charged with a number of drug trafficking offences, after a Lethbridge Police investigation last week.
 
Police say they executed a search warrant on an apartment in the 500 block of 7 St. South on Sept. 6.
 
There, they found 30 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphenalia worth $5,000. They also found an axe and four knives, $4,600 in cash, and several stolen bikes. The value of the stolen bicycles is about $2,000.
 
Stacey Dawn Heidl and Jerome Ross, are both facing a total of eight charges including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property and possession of the proceeds of crime.
 
Both Heidl and Ross made their first court appearences Sept. 8.
