Lethbridge Police seek witnesses and surveillance video near homicide location

LETHBRIDGE – Lethbridge Police are looking for more information about a homicide that occurred
Saturday September 16.
 
Police say around 3:30 p.m. September 16, an officer on patrol intervened in an assault taking place between a man and a woman in the the parking lot of the Multicultural Centre at 421 6 Avenue South.
 
The 48-year old female victim was taken to hospital where she died, and 52- year old Rodney Yellow Old Woman has since been charged with second degree murder.
 
Police are trying to put together a timeline of what exactly happened, and are looking for any witnesses that may have been in the area around the time the homicide occurred.
 
They’re also asking whether any local businesses had cameras that were recording between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
