Memorial Stair Climb on Sunday to honour those who died on 9-11

LETHBRIDGE – Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services, as well as members of the community, will retrace the ascent and descent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Centre in the Lethbridge Memorial 9-11 Stair Climb on Sunday.

The event honours the 343 firefighters and 70 law enforcement members that died in the World Trade Centre on Sept. 11, 2001.

It gets underway at 10 a.m. at the Lethbridge Centre.

All money raised from this event goes to the Tema Conter Memorial Trust, a national charity to support first responders and military as well as their families in the prevention and support for post-traumatic stress disorder.
