LETHBRIDGE – Nearly 6,400 pounds of food was collected Tuesday (Dec. 6) for the two Lethbridge’s food banks during the “Stuff a Bus” event at the north and west side Save On Foods stores.

Country 95.5 FM’s Gillian Macleod and Nevin Sereda were also on hand broadcasting the event live.

Two buses were provided by the City of Lethbridge Transit Department  and according to organizers, the total surpassed last year’s collection by 400 pounds.

Donations will still be accepted at both Save On Foods grocery stores throughout the holiday season.
