Hurricanes sign Lethbridge-born goaltender

LETHBRIDGE – The Hurricanes have signed Lethbridge product Carl Tetachuk.

The 2001-born goaltender is 14-1-1 with the Midget AAA Hurricanes so far this season, with a 1.47 goals-against average and a save percentage of .931. Tetachuk leads the AMHL in several categories, including shutouts with six.

Tetachuk was undrafted in the 2016 Bantam Draft. He signed a WHL Standard Player Agreement with the Canes.

Lethbridge begins a three-game road trip Friday, Feb. 9 at Moose Jaw.
