Technology savvy census takers sought by the City

LETHBRIDGE – The City of Lethbridge is looking to recruit census takers for Lethbridge’s 2018 municipal census. 

They’re looking for individuals with flexible work hours to participate over a three-week period beginning on April 1st.

To qualify to participate, the city outlined the following requirements in a release:

– Must be a Lethbridge resident

– Able to walk long distances

– Can operate a smart phone or tablet

– 18 years or older

– Have an active email account as all communications will be done by email

Applications are available online here, and will be accepted until Friday, Feb. 23 at 4:30 p.m.

The annual City of Lethbridge census provides an accurate count of the number of people living in the city and helps gather important information which impacts the per-capita grants the city receives from both the federal and provincial governments.
