Byelection day for Coalhurst residents

COALHURST – Voters are going to the polls to fill a vacancy on Coalhurst town council.

The vacancy was created in late November 2017 by the passing of Coun. Sheldon Watson. Three people are seeking the seat: A. Elizabeth Christensen, Colin Emerson, and John Guliker.

The poll will be open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22 at the Coalhurst Community Centre, in the Ron Coombes Room. To cast a ballot, voters must bring an acceptable piece of identification with their name and address.
