LETHBRIDGE – A late-winter storm has moved on from southern Alberta. But more snow is still coming for the weekend.

Environment Canada lifted the last snowfall warnings for southern Alberta early Friday, March 16. As of 2 a.m. snowfall totals included 9 cm at Lethbridge and 17 cm at Milk River. The most snowfall recorded was 29 cm at Kananaskis.

Updated conditions for many highways in the Lethbridge area were not yet available Friday morning. Those that had been updated indicated partly snow-packed conditions with snow and ice on the shoulder.

More snow was forecast for Lethbridge for the weekend, with 2-4 cm Friday night, and up to 2 cm Saturday.
